Electric Revelators
The Revelators are constantly touring the UK’s and Europe’s blues festivals and blues clubs, touring the UK in 2004/5, an in 2007 once again criss-crossing the UK and Portugal. Last year they booked into 6 festivals including The 3rd International Douro Blues Festival and The Azores Blues Festival. For 2009 they’re on the road again, including a spell on tour with The Animals.
Gordon Wride - Guitar/Dobro and Vocals

The original member of The Revelators, born and bred in the Amman Valley, Cwmgors, Gordon has been playing guitar for over 20 years and 10 years ago decided to throw himself completely into playing slide.
After travelling around the UK for a majority of his life and attending Swansea University in the 90's, gainng a BA (Hons) and a Diploma (European Humanities) Gordon's knowledge of the blues has brought him to the attention of many international media companies which included a stint with BBC Radio Wales as a presenter for The True Blues Show.
Gordon has also written for many magazines, as a feature writer for the blues - he continues in this role to keep promoting the genre he loves so much!
Gordon also runs the international music management business Slim's Blues, which has worked and collaborated with some of the best blues artists who are touring at the moment.
Luke Evans - Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Slide & Vocal
Born in Resolven in the Vale Of Neath, South Wales, Luke is undoubtedly one of the finest young electric & acoustic guitars players in Wales. His talent and expertise is phenomenal and he has a technique which has blown away many seasoned guitar players.
Luke was discovered 4 years ago by Gordon Wride playing a local coffee shop in Swansea at one of their jam nights - he was 13 at the time and playing Hendrix and SRV note for note! He is now nearly 17 and has matured into playing in the style of BB King, Albert King, Hendrix and SRV. He has recently taken to playing acoustic guitar, and developed a unique style of his own. During the acoustic set with The Revelators, Luke takes vocal and lead on songs Pride & Joy & Crossroads bringing a new twist to some classic numbers!
Luke joined the Revelators in late 2008, and in 2009/10 will be touring with the Animals on UK shows with The Revelators.
At 17 Luke has already started receiving music product endorsements, so if you do get the chance to see young Luke play - be prepared to be dazzled!
Dr Simon Gregory - Harp, Bass, Lap Slide, Washboard & Tawe Delta Beat Box
Born in the Midlands and attended Swansea University, Dr Simon Gregory has astounded audiences with his musical multi-talented playing, from Chicago harp, lap steel, percussion and bass. Simon joined The Revelators in 2007 and he has also travelled throughout the UK with Gordon Wride.
Simon and Gordon have made a pact to carry on playing together, even though they are going to be in different parts of the world in the near future. Gordon is working more and more in Portugal with Jazz and blues promoters, and Simon will be heading towards Europe in his capacity as Dr of Micro-Biology!
What we do know about Simon as a musician is - that he is forever raising the bar, and always looking for new techniques and is never happy until he as got it just right!
Adam Collins - Drums
Adam is a professional drummer, and is well known in South Wales as a genuine world class musician. Adam has also played and jammed with The Revelators since 2002, but has spent the past four years in London studying for a percussionist degree. He recently joined The Revelators as a permanent addition to the line-up.
